Everything we ordered was delicious! We started with a Chef's Bruschetta, it had a perfect balance of flavours. For mains, we ordered the Pappardelle and the Smoked Duck Breast, the Duck won this battle, so good! And lastly we ended up our date night with a sweet treat, the Pavlova. It was fresh, with a hint of sweetness. Overall a 10/10 experience!

La Pentola is situated in the heart of Yaletown and definitely has the cozy vibe we were looking for on a snowy evening. We shared the meatballs and bruschetta to start with, and the bruschetta was to die for, definitely in the top 5 bruschettas I’ve ever had. We each got pasta which were both delicious classics. The wine and dessert were both top-notch as well. I would highly recommend La Pentola for a comforting meal on a cold winter night.

All dishes of five courses are delicious. Chef made us two small bites, one is grilled octopus which recalls our memories while we were in Portugal.
For pasta, Orecchiette with lamb ragu, it's an nice to try yummy dish. For mains, local beef steak with sauce on cornmeal cake, spanish and straw mushroom.
The juicy and tender beef bursts in the mouth has rich taste.
Last, the best ending dessert, tiramisu. The soft tiramisu soaks in cheery liquor, has moisture texture. Espresso gelato with bitter sweet flavor, bitter is stronger than sweet, love it. Can't wait to try others next time.

The food and ambiance at La Pentola was amazing! Right by Yaletown Roundhouse station, it was accessible and easy to find. We chose to have the 5 course meal to celebrate my 34th birthday and it did not disappoint. The foccacia starter was by far my kid's favourite dish. Our meal came with two starters, beet salad and scallops on a bed of celery mashed potatoes, a papperdelle bolognese (another kids fave), a steak and an amazing milk chocolate dessert that comes in 3 different textures. It was AMAZING!!!

The food was unreal, and the waitress was an amazingly helpful Irish lady. We went for an early Christmas dinner and to celebrate me finishing my degree and they made it so special. We loved being there early because my dad who's hard of hearing could participate in the conversation and still hear the holiday carols. It was such an amazing night I think we will do this every year! Thank you la pentola!

The food was all delicious, I had been once before but using First Table allowed me try a range of menu items so I truly got to experience the offering at La Pentola and it is amazing! Would 100% recommend and go back again.

Great ambiance. Food was excellent. We had the octopus, the beet salad with burrata, cacio e pepe pasta and the steak. A little too much food for 2 but all great choices. Service was also impeccable.

First time using first table and decided to try Le Pentola.
We enjoyed the chef's 5 course menu, with each dish the server would tell us exactly what we were having. Fresh bread, salad with Burrata, Atlantic Scallops, Pappardelle, Smoked Duck Breast, and Lemon cream for dessert.
The service was excellent with servers coming by and checking on all the dishes we were having and wether we need anything.
All in all a great experience, will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Our experience at La Pentola was outstanding:
- Greeted at the front and offered coat check, seated immediately
- It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday night, this place clearly has a following
- The Burrata starter was INCREDIBLE
- Service was quick, and staff were attentive

My only minor criticism is that they should probably inform you of the price of the specials. Of course, it's also my fault for not asking, and I was not about to complain given the 50% discount. But the starter special was more than double the price of all the other starters, which was surprising.

Otherwise, fantastic and will definitely be back!

Booked a table for 4 and it was everyone's first time using First Table and first time at La Pentola. We decided to go with their 4 course "Alla Famiglia" offering to get a taste little of everything. We appreciated they were willing to take requests for any type of food we really wanted to try and asked if they could incorporate sablefish in some way. The four courses served were a beet salad, tagliatelle pasta, sablefish, & lemon cream desert. Each course was delicious and we represented a great different aspect of Italian cuisine. The portion sizes were just adequate enough for our 2 couple party but not exactly the heaping portions I would imagine a classic "Alla Famiglia" dinner at someone's Italian grandmother's home to be. Overall the service and experience was great. Booking with First Table saved us a full $100 off the final bill which made the whole dinner an even better value.
